Decision Router

Every decision reaches the person who owns it

A refund past the line, a discount outside policy, a vendor that missed its SLA. org.run knows who decides each kind of call, brings it to them with everything they need, and keeps a record of what they chose and why.

Who decides, and how

The right people, in the right shape

Some calls have one owner. Others go to a team, a vote or a sequence of sign-offs. The router knows which shape each decision takes and keeps it moving.

One owner by kind, amount and account

A $200 refund goes to the support lead, a $5,000 one to finance, and anything on an enterprise account also reaches its account owner. The bands come from how you already decide.

First available

Send a decision to a team, such as on-call or the support leads. The first person to pick it up decides for the group, and the record names who did.

Polls

Put a call to a group and move on once enough agree. Named or anonymous, with weighted votes and a deadline, and the result goes on record.

Chained decisions

Sign-offs that happen in order: the manager, then finance, then the CEO. Each person sees what the one before decided, and the run waits until the last one has.

Time-based fallbacks

Every decision has a due time. No answer in time and it moves to a backup or one level up, or follows the outcome you set, such as declining it or approving a low-risk item.

Chained fallbacks

If the owner is away, it goes to their delegate, and if the delegate is away too, to the next person in line. Out of office and skills are checked at every step.

How it works

Mapped, routed, briefed Then recorded

  1. 01

    It maps who decides what

Past approvals, your org chart, your rules and a few interview questions become a decision rights map: every kind of call, its owner, its backup and its thresholds.

  2. 02

    It routes each decision

When a run reaches a call that is not the agent's to make, the router picks the owner by kind, amount, customer and availability, and sends it where they already work.

  3. 03

    It brings the full context

A short brief: the question, the options, a recommendation, the evidence behind it, how similar calls went before and what waiting costs. Nothing to go and look up.

  4. 04

    It records the decision

Who decided, on whose authority, what they saw, what they chose and why. The run continues with that answer, and the choice teaches the learning loop.

What every decision record keeps

A record you can stand behind later

Months later, anyone with access can open a decision and see exactly how it was made.

The question

What was being decided, which run raised it and what was waiting on the answer.

What they saw

A snapshot of the brief at the moment of the decision, with every linked source as it stood then, not as it reads today.

Who decided, and on what authority

The person, and the rule or delegation that gave them the right to make this call on that day.

The choice and the reason

Approve, change or decline, with the reason in their own words. A changed answer keeps both the proposal and the edit.

The full timeline

Raised, routed, seen, reassigned, escalated, decided. Every step with its time and the reason it happened.

What happened next

Every action taken because of the decision, linked to its result and to undo where the action allows it.

Off your plate

Stop being the switchboard

When nobody knows who owns a call, it lands on whoever is most senior or loudest. The router knows, and sends it there.

  • Forwarding requests to the person who can approve them
  • Asking who signs off on this, again
  • Chasing an approver who is on leave
  • Digging up context before making a call
  • Approving things that were never yours to approve
  • Finding out a decision sat unanswered for a week
  • Rebuilding why a call was made for an auditor
  • Explaining past decisions to a new hire

Built for accountable decisions

Fast decisions, made by the right people

A decision rights map you can edit

See every kind of decision, its owner and its thresholds on one page. Gaps where no one owns a call are flagged, so they get an owner before they get stuck.

Precedent on every brief

How the last similar calls went, who made them and what came of it. Consistent answers without anyone remembering the history.

Ask before you answer

Need one more fact? Ask in a sentence. The agent finds it, updates the brief and keeps the clock running.

Decide where you work

Slack, Teams, email, the companion app or your phone. One tap to approve, change or decline, with the brief right there.

Decision health

How long decisions wait, who is overloaded and which kinds keep escalating. Spread the load or move a threshold before it becomes a bottleneck.

Ready for audit

Export any decision, or every decision of a kind, with its brief, authority and timeline. Built for SOC 2 reviews, board minutes and internal audit.

Questions about the Decision Router

Approvals is the line where a run stops for a person. The Decision Router works out which person, gives them the context to decide well, covers absences and deadlines, and keeps the record of what they chose.

No. The router drafts the map from past approvals, your org chart and your rules, and asks a short question wherever ownership is unclear. You review the draft and edit any line.

Every decision has a due time. Before the deadline it reminds the owner once, then moves the decision to the backup or one level up, and records why it moved.

No. Each decision is only offered to people whose rights cover it. A delegate can decide only within the window and limits they were given, and every decision records the authority it was made under.

The people involved, their managers and anyone you grant audit access. Records cannot be edited after the fact. A reversed decision is a new record linked to the first.

Early access
