Watch and learn

Do it once It learns the job

Record yourself doing a piece of work. org.run watches what you open, copy, paste and type, works out the steps and the reasons behind them, and turns that into a routine it can run. Coming soon, and opt-in for every person.

How it works

From one recording to a routine it runs

  1. 01

    You do the work once

Press record and do the task the way you always do it, or turn on shadowing for an afternoon. Nothing about how you work changes.

  2. 02

It works out the steps and the why

It watches the screen: what was copied from where and pasted where, what was typed, which tools were used. From that it builds the steps, and the reason behind each one.

  3. 03

    You confirm the routine

It shows the steps back in plain language. Edit a step, add a limit, or mark where it must ask you. Then it does a dry run with nothing written.

  4. 04

It runs it, and stops at your line

From then on the routine runs whenever the task comes up. Anything past your limits pauses and comes to you, the same as every other run.

Private by design

Shadowing, not surveillance

It learns a task the way a new hire would: by watching someone do it, with their say-so. Nothing is recorded that a person did not choose to share.

Opt-in per person

Observation is on only for people who turn it on, only for as long as they say. There is no company-wide switch, and nobody can turn it on for someone else.

Redacted on the device

Passwords, card numbers and anything you mark sensitive are blanked before a frame leaves the machine. org.run never sees them.

You see everything it learned

Every routine shows the steps it drew from your recording, in plain language. It cannot learn something you cannot read.

Delete any recording

Remove a session at any time. The routine stays only if you keep it. The recording behind it does not.

Off your plate

Stop writing the SOP nobody reads

The tasks you could do in your sleep are the ones that eat the week. Show them once instead of writing them down.

  • Writing a step-by-step guide for a task you know by heart
  • Keying invoice details from email into the accounting system
  • Re-doing the same export, clean-up and upload every Monday
  • Walking a new hire through the same process a third time
  • Copying order details from one tool into another
  • Updating the tracker after every call, by hand
  • Being the only person who knows how a task is done
  • Losing a process when the person who ran it leaves

What it picks up

It learns the steps, and the reasons behind them

Copy and paste lineage

It tracks what was copied from where and pasted where, so the routine knows the amount came from the invoice total, not the subject line.

Typed input

What you typed, and into which field. Form fills, search terms and notes become steps with the right values in the right place.

Tools and screens

Which apps and pages were used, and in what order. The routine runs in the same tools, through the accounts you have already connected.

The why, not just the clicks

It infers the reason behind each step: you checked the PO number because the bill must match it. So it handles the next invoice, not a replay of this one.

Dry run first

Before the first real run it walks the routine end to end with nothing written, and shows you what it would have done.

Your limits still apply

A learned routine runs under the same rules as everything else. Over the amount, outside the customer tier, or on anything one-way, it stops and asks.

Questions about watch and learn

Not yet. Watch and learn is on the roadmap. Early-access customers get it first, and we will ask for your input on the privacy controls before it ships.

No. Each person turns observation on for themselves, for a single recording or a stretch of time, and turns it off whenever they like. There is no company-wide switch and no way to turn it on for someone else.

They are redacted on the device before anything is saved or sent. Password fields, payment details and anything you mark sensitive are blanked in the recording itself, so they never reach org.run.

You see every step before the routine runs and can edit it in plain language. The dry run then shows what it would have done without writing anything. If a step is still wrong, fix it and the routine updates.

It runs the parts that are the same every time and stops at the parts that are not. Put a limit on any step, an amount, a customer tier or a kind of action, and it pauses there and comes to you, the same as every other run.
